Nikolai Nikolaevich Zakharov
Soviet and Russian mountaineer, Honored Master of Sports of Russia in Mountaineering, Master of Sports in Rock Climbing, Honored Coach of Russia, Snow Leopard, and Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Krai (2005).
Multiple-time Champion of the USSR and Russia in high-altitude, technical, and rock climbing disciplines.
Recipient of the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland, II Degree” (2002) and the Diploma of the Russian Olympic Committee “Fair Play” (1996).Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Mountaineering Federation (1998–2006) and Head Coach of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Mountaineering Team (since 1990).Recognized by the Russian Mountaineering Federation as the Best Climber in the High-Altitude Class (1997) and the Technical Class (1998).

Valentina Pavlovna Krasovskaya
Honorary Citizen of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, Professor of Medicine, and Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, known not only in Russia but also abroad. Her books have inspired doctoral dissertations. Yet 90 years ago, it seemed that her life might end “behind a high fence.”Her path has included everything — hardship, injustice, and a struggle for what is right. She was rehabilitated after years of exile, already being a respected physician by that time. Despite all trials, she retained her optimism and faith in life. As Valentina Pavlovna herself says: “I persistently strive to achieve my goals.”Thanks to her dedication and tireless efforts, a Department and Center of Pediatric Surgery were established in Krasnoyarsk Krai from the ground up.In the new episode of the project, Valentina Krasovskaya — who turns 97 in 2024 — speaks about her life and professional journey.
